Prescriptions and pharmaceutical drugs are much cheaper in Mexico than the US. The US has exceedingly high medical costs for no apparent reason other than greedy pharmacy companies. Mexico now has a thriving business of selling prescriptions to American citizens. Mexican wrestling is truly mesmerizing. It is better than US wrestling in so many ways. It has colorful masks, flying men, acrobats and much more. Popular Mexican wrestlers become film and TV stars. Whilst American wrestling did inspire Mexican wrestling, Mexcian Wrestling now has a life of its own. It is also tied to social and political issues. Mexican wrestlers use fake names and wear masks. They are almost never seen without their masks on. Some wrestlers even pass on the wrestling name to their children who take their place.
Mexico has great street food. It is some of the best in the world. When the Spanish first came to Mexico, they were amazed to find ready-to-eat food that was for sale on the streets. There are thousands of stalls in Mexico city selling all sorts of foods, from tacos to elote. There is such a variety that your mouth will start watering as soon see them.
Mexico actually has higher voter turnout than the US. While the 2016 presidential election had the highest voter turnout in recent presidential elections at 57.9 % of eligible voters, Mexico’s voter turnout in the 2012 general election was higher with 63.1%.
